Flying wild less than twelve months ago;

they hardly get out of the way of one’s feet.
No attempt to tame or spoil has been made
they have simply been left alone
and learned to recognize human beings
not as things to be feared.

in fact turning from wild to civilized
somewhat similar to a wild horse
can be done by those who know how to do so
without unnecessary discomfort or injury

but people who are tame and quiet (on account of timidity)
will carry on their everyday affairs under our very noses
